About this field

Step into Farleigh Forest, a huge 4.5-acre woodland designed for dogs and their humans to explore, relax and enjoy off-lead freedom.

The forest is fully enclosed with 6ft security fencing, dug into the ground for extra safety and peace of mind. Inside you'll find two unique spaces: the Forest Walk, a shady woodland trail full of natural play opportunities where dogs can bound among the trees, and the Paddock, an open area where they can stretch their legs while you relax with a complimentary hot drink from our tea shed.

When you arrive, enter your access code at the secure electric gates and drive into the large car park, which has plenty of room to park and turn. Once the gate is closed, your private, lead-free adventure begins. From the car park you can reach the forest trail through the gate in the corner, or head straight into the paddock through the double gates.

There are no public footpaths around the site, but a track runs along the right-hand side of the enclosure. Vehicles and occasionally horses use it to reach nearby homes and paddocks, and the horse paddocks can be seen from parts of the forest. Maximum 6 dogs and 3 cars.

Field rules

  1. Only arrive for your booked slot

    Don't arrive before your start time, and leave the field before your session ends so the next customer can start on time.

  2. Wait for the previous customer to leave

    Don't enter until they have departed, even if they are running late. If someone overstays, call us and we will contact them.

  3. Secure the gate behind you

    Make sure the gate is closed and locked before letting your dog out. Never force or push the gates, as this damages the motor.

  4. Never leave your dog unattended

    Dogs must be accompanied by an adult at all times. If your dog shows signs of ill health, please don't attend.

  5. Pick up after your dog

    Bags and bins are provided on site. Please take all litter with you or use the bins.
